2013 Security Symposium
This annual symposium brings together IT professionals for engaging talks, training, and live demos of cutting edge security products.

Mr. Bomar will present a one-hour session from 9:40am-10:40am entitled Is Your Cyber-Zipper Down: How to Address Cyber Security Risk Management for SMBs and Nonprofits. The break-out session will cover high level aspects of cyber security risk management for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Mr. Bomar will discuss current and forthcoming data privacy and security laws, and case studies. The session will include establishing a cyber security culture in the workplace, network and privacy liability, how to appoint a safeguard program coordinator, cyber-liability insurance, best practices and due diligence for small entities. This presentation is part of the symposium’s Information Security Governance track.
